Troop 476, is a great troop with great people and activities. The troop really follows the scouting program. I believe that Troop 476 is truly a boy-led troop. Our Senior Patrol Leader and the Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders run all of the troop meetings and activities. Some of these activities include skiing, rock climbing, canoeing, hiking and camping. All of these activities are always fun and memorable. At troop meetings, we work on merit badges and rank advancements. Its a really great troop and program!

Troop 476 is a great troop with many activities and many great people to share experiences with. We are considered a canoeing troop and own several canoes. We have many opportunities for canoeing as an activity, and we recently went to Boundary Waters for a one week canoeing excursion, which was a lot of fun. We also do skiing and snow tubing which are both fun winter activities. We usually have at our meetings, programs designed for rank advancement for the ranks of Scout thru First Class, or merit badge classes. The older scouts are usually involved in instructing the younger Scouts or participating in merit badge classes. We encourage all of the scouts to practice the scouting basics, knot tying, Scout Law, and Scout Oath. The troop tries very hard to help you gain the knowledge to get a higher rank or become an Eagle Scout. In conclusion, Troop 476 is a great troop to join.

Troop 476 is a very exciting troop. Over this past year we have had many interesting camp outs. One of which is the Horse Tooth camp out. Everyone who attended remembers the canoeing and fun on the beach we had there. Another event that we did was rock climbing. The rappelling and overall climbing entertained the scouts and the parents for a long time. Overall Troop 476 is a great troop!

For the past 5 years that I have been apart of this troop I can say that they have been the best years of my life.  With the great and productive scouts that we have in our troop along with the fun outings we take part in, it feels good being the leader of such a terrific group of boys.  After meeting and observing other troops, I can say that were one of the best with a good amount of younger boys already at the rank of Life and with a high success rate for Eagle scouts from over the years.  And that number is climbing!  As you might have read from my ASPL's Nathan and Cory, are specialty as a troop is canoeing, we try to bring them to as many camp outs as possible.  Are troop meetings and camp outs are scout ran unlike most other troops, remaining heavily on the leadership quality's of the scout.   Our troop and the success they have, whether it’s their personal achievements or the troop’s advancements into a better group of brothers, are outstanding.   We gladly invite guests and cub scouts to come visit our troop in action because we are definitely one of a kind.
